We waited 45 minutes for the car in front of Notre Dame we had ordered even though many available G7 cars came by but we couldn’t use them because we had prepaid for the other car. Our driver claimed he had arrived but we did not see him. There is no way to see your driver’s location and there is no way to share your location with the driver. App has a nice interface but functionality is very poor.

Does not give trip estimated time of arrival. Does not show the route on the map. Changed my home to a different location and had to cancel a ride.

The estimate for my ride said 69 euro but I was charged 77 euro for the ride, why did the app not make the actual price clear?

Ridiculous wait time, overcharged

They will overcharge you 3 to 4 times for the same trip. I went to the airport. I got home and over $500 was taking out of my account before I even landed. I plan on suing them and waiting for my bank to open tomorrow. This is obviously not a safe app for a person who is visiting the city.

Was in Paris and G7 was highly recommended. Used once and the driver did not show up and was unable to get a hold l him. Immediate scheduled with another driver and that driver demanded I pay him directly and when I showed that it was paid through the app continue to argue. Would not recommend.

J’ai loué un taxi au prix de 77€, et ils m’ont demandé de payer cette somme, et j’ai payé, mais après que le taxi m’est déposé, ils se sont permis de retirer encore 77€,, cela est bien reel, j’ai contacté ma banque et m’ont bien confirmé qu’ils ont bel et bien retiré en total de 154€, j’ai contacté le support et m’ont dit que apparemment ils ont retiré la première fois 77€ pour tester si ma carte bancaire est bien réel, aucune entreprise fait ça, comme par hasard ils veulent tester ma carte et m’ont dit qu’ils vont me rembourser dans les prochains 24h mais ça fait littéralement 3 jours et je n’ai rien reçu ! Bref faites attention.

This app is working well. I don’t speak French, so being able to arrange a ride or even just pay is great. Ideally, the app would show the route when putting it in. This way, I would be able to confirm the destination.

The app was great. If you want to setup before arriving in France you will need to use a VPN (set to France). Our driver was early, and exceptional service in a great vehicle.

The driver charged me twice as much as what the meteor showed when I was dropped off. The meter read €16.80. I received an e-mail that he is charging €30.80. This is incorrect and I do not understand how he can do this.

G7 is by far the largest taxi company in paris. With high standards for drivers and car. You can have a luxury ride for few euros more than a standard taxi or enjoy a clean and safe taxi in new cars. Also pay with the app and forget cash. G7 have hundreds (thousands?) of taxi in paris so a taxi will pick you up in minutes

Every time I put in 4 passengers in the app when I call a taxi and every time they are surprised there are 4 people.

Drivers do not meet you where you are. They try and have you walk too far for them. They are taxis. Uber is better experience and more reliable.

Ordered a taxi the night before heading out of Paris for 6:00 am pickup the next morning. Simple to use the app and our driver arrived a few minutes early. Very friendly and helpful.

This is a great car hire service for tourists. Easy to navigate and seamless way to handle transactions and save ride history in France. Merci G7!

This app would not work for either of is. So glad that there was uber.

Price paid may be significantly higher than quoted prices and significantly higher than metered rate. We used this app for a couple of days and realized it was mostly a scam.

The app is easy to use. It gives you an estimate of the ride’s cost.

G7 in Paris is the ultimate choice, known for their punctuality, excellent customer service, and efficient use of bus and taxi lanes which makes them faster than Uber or any other private car company. The drivers are consistently top-notch.

G7 was a great help to this English-speaking family of three. On time, courteous, and professional. The app is very intuitive and fully compliments the ride experience. We will look for G7 when in Paris again.

Even though my French is a bit weak, the G7 app was so intuitive that I barely needed to copy and paste any of the instructions into Google Translate. I also like that you could set the tip in the app. We used G7 twice during our stay in Paris, and both times it was smooth as silk!

We traveled with 2 kids that needed car seats. G7 was extremely easy to use and book a car in advance. The only worry was no confirmation of a specific car until 11 minutes before our trip. Now that I know they will do that, I can be more at ease. They booked a great driver for us that was very helpful.

The App is very easy to set up and use. The car was very nice and the driver was polite and helpful. I highly recommend this service.

I had the post kind chauffeur I ever had. With the olympic’s they were not letting people in to the area where I live. I was going to be stranded with 4 suitcases on a street not so close to my house. The chauffeur was kind to help me with 2 of my suitcases and helped me get home. Thank you for such kindness . The service and professionalism of G7 is world class

This app is a ripoff you will do better off hailing a cab at a taxi stand as soon as you order on the app it automatically changes 54$ even if the trip is less this company will not adjust the amount.

Apparently estimate doesn’t mean anything? My trip was estimated max 20 euro and I was charged 33 euro. How is this legal and how I dispute my charge when there is no English option for customer service?

I booked through the app for the 1st time (use the phone app for more than 10years) My card was automatically debited without showing the amount. The rate was finally more than 25€ than the official rate for the airport. If there is no reaction from G7 this will be th e last time I use this app. Nota: airports official Taxi rates from/to Paris/Airport Charles de gaule are 53€/58€ from Paris right/left side of the seine. I finally paid 92$#85€

On time, clean cars good drivers.

Ordered a ride. Passed us by. And you can’t do anything about it. Can’t cancel, can’t get back your money.

Pay special attention to the Estimated Price! The title is bright white on the left and then the amount is almost greyed out on the far right. BUT below the title they have a column of cars with some other, much smaller, cost in the same white font as “estimated price” so you think you're getting a bargain. I’m new to using taxis… I’ll just stick to the Metro.

The app works well enough, it’s pretty straightforward. The app does however manage tips in a way that seems a tad dishonest. There is no mention of tipping when booking or finalizing a ride. However, in the settings, there is a “default” tip amount that is set to €5. Unless you change that to €0, the tip will be added to every ride. (Note: tipping 20% is not a thing in France)

App is bad, service is good. Kind of random if you can get a taxi or not in the app with just « retry later » message. But once you get a taxi it’s usually nice folks providing good service.

What aren’t the option prices visible anymore? They used to be. Uber prices are clearly shown.

The driver didnot come and when he came there was a charge of 16+ euros already ( for waiting at some other place )

I took a ride to Versailles. The ride was estimated to be 54 Euros to 65 Euros. The meter then showed the upper range 68 Euros. I was then charged 84 Euros. You can’t trust these drivers.

I had a question. I’ll be traveling to Paris soon, so I download the app and tried to make an account but I haven’t received the verification code. I have tried to restart my phone and even deleted the app but still nothing. Could you help me with this problem?

nous avons réservé un Taxi G7 pour partir à l’aéroport avec ma famille à l’heure de prendre le taxi. Une dame nous appelle en disant qu’il y a eu un bug et quaucun taxi n’a été trouvé et pour cela alors que on a pris un taxi qui passait qui était libre on a été facturé de 13 € de service financier, c’est une véritable honte. nous sommes en 2023 et malgré la compétition de tous les VTC. G7 est incapable de faire une application qui marche sans bug.

This App is a Scam! They charged me for a taxi even though I was never picked up. Just use regular ride sharing apps.

I was charged 85 euros twice while booking a ride to the airport. Then, when I checked to confirm the details of the booking, it had a 1 am pickup time (?) instead of 7 am. When I tried to change it, it told me there are no cars available. I had to delete the booking and use another app. Very unhappy.

Our driver was on time, his driving was excellent and the conversation was wonderful! Very happy with G7.

It is difficult to figure out how much g7 will charge prior to getting in the taxi. I have not figured it out and ended up accepting a ride for far more than I would have had I known.

They will not honor the price they quote you. They will add tips with out approval

We stayed in Paris for a week and used G7 several times. The app was easy to use. The drivers were polite and helpful. The main difference between using a taxi/ride hailing app here versus the United States is you would need to authorize an estimated cost of each ride on your credit card beforehand. You’ll be charged the actual amount after the ride ends. We were happy with the G7 service.

G7 driver from Orly airport should have charged the prearranged fixed fee. Instead they charged a higher fee. Another G7 taxi showed a fee on his meter that was over 15 euros less than my credit card charge. I calculated the exchange rate correctly. Other trips were ok. Some drivers use a GPS others don’t. The GPS made me more certain that they were not trying to make it a longer trip unnecessarily. I’m not sure why we had problems. Most French people use G7 and I usually Uber in Paris. I wanted to try G7 and unfortunately it was just ok with extra problems.
